Teren(i) za 15 i 28mm modele (1. DIO)

SLIKA 01 - Sve napravljeno na jednom mjestu

UVOD:
Nije važno, potrošio sam nekoliko sati i prilično sam zadovoljan.

SLIKA 02 - Velika živica (Hedgerow); napravljena u par minuta i zahtjeva daljnji rad.

SLIKA 05 - Detalj jednog kamena. Vide se mnogobrojne rupice.

SLIKA 06 - Komad grane koja predstavlja srušeno stablo, pokoji busen trave, nešto kamenja i sitne piljevine (dobivena piljenjem ove grane).

SLIKA 07 - Ista pločica samo sa druge strane.

SLIKA 08 - Kameni zidić. Nikako nisam zadovoljan izgledom, bojom, a najmanje fotografijom.

SLIKA 10 - Kora stabla i visoka trava.

SLIKA 16 - Tri male FoW baze iza prepreke. Modele je bojao Crac des Chevaliers.

SLIKA 17 - Srednja INF baza (FoW) iza male živice.

SLIKA19 - Živica skriva koliko i treba. Iza male prepreke stanu 2, a iza velike 3 vojnika od 28mm.

Flames Of War in our school (by Dule)

I have been preparing FoW presentation in school where I work, for quite a long time. The selfish reason is that I desperately need an opponent to play with. The non selfish reason is that I think that young people should see something aside from computer games.

The greatest problem for me was to make enough tables and terrains so that both public and the guest players could enjoy the game.  Most of my pupils play World Of Tanks and other computer games but are not familiar with tabletop games at all.

The general idea was to invite my friends who were veteran FoW players and to make a mini tournament. Since this was not supposed to be a competitive tournament I suggested that Dorian, Milan, Deka, Uroš and Vlada make some lists that they really like, preferably tank lists, so that a game could be fast and attractive. We played Late War in 1500 points. First mission was Breakthrough and the second mission was Counterattack to make things as fast as possible.

There were some 20 participants that day. We all enjoyed the tournament much. The main goal was attained since after that tournament we  made a club in our school were my pupils and I play FoW once a week. One of the classrooms where I usually have classes served as our Cabinet war room.
With my pupils I play Early War and I hope that soon we will be able to play Mid War too. We do not lack enthusiasm but what we really need are the V3 rule books and some other armies apart from the Red Army (hahaha).  I can make almost all Soviet EW lists, a couple of German EW lists and one British EW list and now we plan to expand our German arsenal. Since the English language is a bit of a problem too I have started to make some scripts with only the basic rules in our language. I have prepared some unassembled models and soon I will start to teach my pupils how to assemble and colour them.  We plan to invite in the future pupils from other high schools in our town, but that will be material for another article...

Interview with Jan (FoW Singles Winner) ETC 2015

Jan: For the first FoW ETC in Poland the best team member at ESC was Tevž. If I recall correctly he was third.
I have only managed to get the most points during the team event.
Nothing really changed in the meantime, I still love the game and play with as much enthusiasm as I did at that time.

Jan: I have played with Finnish infantry like I have done for every ETC so far. They have for sure the top 3 infantry in EW but really suffer from the lack of a decent tank support. I really like to play with other armies as well but ETC is when everyone needs to put out their best and so the Finns are just always the best choice.
After last year's ETC I have decided to play anything else but infantry because I got a bit bored but as I haven't had any chance to play FoW this year (I have played 6 games in the whole year before ETC) Tevž and I decided it is better to stick with something I remember how to play.
That is why the ESC win was completely unexpected. I remember how terribly bad I was playing in Pivka tournament and was just hoping I am not going to do lots of regretable mistakes. Lots of things came together in the end, right opponents in the right scenarios and most importantly a roll-off to determine the attacker in a defensive battle versus Soviet infantry went my way. I think this year I have had a lot more luck than brains.

Jan: Serbia managed to organize by far the best FoW event ever, the only downside was the terrain. That was by far the best in Poland. Czech Republic was struggling on all lines. It was especially depressing to wait in line for 10 minutes to get a beer which was then served by a topless guy...

TM: Koliko partija FoW-a odigraš godišnje?

Jan: I have played exactly 6 games (1 tournament and two friendly games) after last year's and this year's ETC. Before moving away I on average played a game every 2 weeks.

Jan: The only thing to watch out and avoid is playing the game in a routine way. Strange ideas quite often work in my opinion but.
Which type to choose depends on your play style. You learn the most if you choose the one that doesn't suit you :)

Jan: I wouldn't yet like to comment on this. All I can say is that the information about Polish team cheating was quite misleading...

Jan: I tend to keep the same dice the entire time and I believe that players don't use loaded die but I wouldn't mind to use the dice provided by an organizer if that was the case.

Tank Painting Contest

 Plakat povodom nagradne igre

For example (painted Crac des Chevaliers)

Tank Painting Contest (WW2 setting, scale: 1/100)

In order to participate, you should paint one tank (in 1/100 or 15mm scale). When you are done painting, you should send several photos of the painted tank (front, rear, top, left, and right). One photo should also include a paper with your name or nickname as well as a coin of your local currency. You may also send photos of a model you have painted previously.

The deadline for sending the photos is September 27th 2015.
I will publish all received photos, excluding those which include participant names, on my blog by September 30th.

After this, all participants will have one week to vote for the models by giving them 1, 2, 3 and 5 points. These are “Big points”. Contestants may not vote for their own models. At the same time, all readers of my blog may also cast their votes in a similar manner. These are “Small points”, and will only be used to break ties in “Big points”.
If two or more participants happen to have an equal number of both Big and Small points, ranking will be decided by a dice roll.

Voting will conclude on October 3rd 2015, and I will publish the results the following day on my blog. The results will include additional data about models, participants etc. The images will also be published in the PDF edition of the magazine at the end of October.

I will give one blister and two TM (Tom's Magazine) objective markers to the winner.
All participants and voters will also automatically enter a draw for an additional award.

If I manage to find more sponsors, the awards may be even better.

There is no limit on the number of contestants ;).

Hrvatska verzija:

Nagradna igra – bojanje tenka (WW2 period, mjerilo 1/100)

Trebate obojati jedan tenk 1/100 (15mm).

Ja ću dati jedan BF blister i dva TM (Tom's Magazine) objektiva pobjedniku nagradne igre.
